Community Standards

These Community Standards (“Standards”) are incorporated into the Terms of Use and govern the use of the begratz app, website, and newsletter (app, website, and newsletter individually and collectively, “app”) and the delivery of any goods and services by begratz Inc. to users in connection with the app.

These Standards for use of the app are required by begratz Inc. (“begratz” “we”, “our”, and/or “us”) of you, the user of the app (“you” and/or “your”) and you are expected to adhere to these Standards.  By using one or more of the begratz app, website, newsletter comprising the app, and in exchange for us providing such use and related goods and services we provide to you, you agree to abide by, follow, and adhere to these Standards in connection with your use of the app:

  1. Child Exploitation and Abuse
  1. We prohibit any content or actions that exploit or harm anyone under the age of 18 (“child” or “children” or “minor”), including, but not limited to, sexual, physical, emotional, or other abuse. Any violations of this standard will result in immediate action, including but not limited to, content, account suspension, and reporting to relevant authorities.
  2. By way of example, and not limitation, the following are prohibited:
  1. Child Sexual Exploitation.  We have zero tolerance for content that depicts, promotes, or glorifies child sexual exploitation. This includes, but is not limited to:
  1. Visual, image, textual, auditory, or other content, whether real or simulated, depictions of minors engaged in explicit or suggestive sexual activities.
  2. Sexualized comments directed at or about minors.
  3. Links to external sites hosting child sexual exploitation material.
  4. Fantasies or discussions endorsing sexual activities with minors.
  5. Identifying alleged victims of child sexual exploitation by name or image.
  6. Promoting or normalizing sexual attraction to minors as a form of identity or sexual orientation.
  7. Engaging in or attempting to engage minors in sexually explicit conversations or activities.
  8. Recruiting, advertising, trafficking, or expressing interest in sex acts involving minors.
  9. Threatening to share or soliciting sexual media of minors, including self-generated content.
  1. Child Nudity.  We prohibit content that depicts or suggests real or simulated child nudity.  Some limited exceptions to this policy may be made for non-sexual depictions of child nudity recognized as appropriate by legal and community standards, such as pictures of newborn babies wrapped in a blanket.
  2. Non-Sexual Child Abuse.  Content depicting or promoting non-sexual child abuse, whether physical, mental, emotional, or otherwise, is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:
  1. Visual, image, textual, auditory, or other content, whether real or simulated, showing physical, mental,or emotional abuse of minors.
  2. Content that praises, supports, encourages, or facilitates participation in child abuse.
  3. Content that praises, supports, encourages, or facilitates trafficking of children whether for paid or unpaid, forced, or unforced, labor or tasks.
  1. Inappropriate Interactions with Minors.  We do not tolerate any interactions with minors that are exploitative or inappropriate, including but not limited to:
  1. Encouraging, arranging, or planning sexual encounters or forced or unforced labor or tasks with minors.
  2. Enticing minors to engage in sexual activities or forced or unforced labor or tasks through conversations or material exchanges.
  3. Engaging in implicitly sexual conversations with minors in private messages.
  4. Requesting or obtaining sexual material from minors.
  1. Exploitative Intimate Imagery and Sextortion.  We prohibit any attempts to exploit minors, including but not limited to:
  1. Coercing money, favors, or intimate or abusive imagery with threats to expose such content.
  2. Creating or otherwise sharing or threatening to share private sexual conversations or intimate imagery.
  1. Self-Harm
  1. We prohibit visual, image, textual, auditory, and other content, whether real or simulated, that glorifies, promotes, plans, facilitates, or encourages self-harm, including, but not limited to:
  1. Self-Injury or Mutilation: Content promoting or instructing on self-inflicted harm, such as cutting or burning.
  2. Suicide: Content promoting or instructing suicide or assisted-suicide.
  3. Eating Disorders: Content promoting or instructing disordered eating behaviors, such as extreme dieting, purging, or other harmful weight-loss practices.
  4. Dangerous Challenges: Content promoting or instructing participation in harmful trends that risk injury or death.
  1. For users in the United States, if you or someone you are aware of may be considering suicide or could use crisis support, using a phone and not the app, you may call or text 988, or using a computer and not the app, you may chat at 988lifeline.org for yourself or the other person.
  1. Unauthorized Practice of Medicine, Psychology, Social Work, or other Professions  
  1. You are prohibited from using the app to engage in any conduct that constitutes the unauthorized practice of medicine, psychology, social work, or or other profession, including, but not limited to:
  1. Creating or otherwise sharing content with the intent to prevent, diagnose, correct, treat, provide therapy, or counsel in any manner or by any means for any disease, illness, or other mental, emotional, behavioral, cognitive, psychological, or physical condition or social, personal, or spiritual relationship.
  2. Offering unapproved medical treatments.
  3. Providing medical or other advice in a way that may be mistaken for healthcare or other professional services.
  4. Promoting unverified treatments, drugs, or medical devices that lack regulatory approval.
  5. Providing psychological therapy or mental health diagnoses.
  6. Providing social work services, counseling, or trauma therapy.
  7. Creating or otherwise sharing content suggesting that certain devices or treatments have medicinal, psychological, or therapeutic benefits without regulatory approval where such approval is required by law.
  8. Exploiting users emotionally or financially under the guise of religious or spiritual authority.
  1. Discussions and information creating and otherwise sharing content about health, mental wellness, relationships, spirituality, and other matters not violating these Standards are permitted so long as they are clearly reporting authoritative professional guidance or expressing opinion for the purpose of information sharing, commentary, and discourse and are not presented as professional services delivered to a user.
  1. Promotion or Encouragement of Illegal Drug Use
  1. We prohibit content that promotes or encourages the use, sale, distribution, or manufacturing of illegal drugs or other substances, or the illegal use of legal drugs and alcohol, including but not limited to:
  1. Sale or Distribution: Attempts to, or instructions on how to, buy, sell, trade, or distribute illegal drugs or paraphernalia.
  2. Encouragement of Illegal Drug Use: Glorification or instructional content on substance abuse, including recreational use of illegal drugs.
  3. Unverified Health Claims: Statements suggesting that illegal or unapproved drugs or other substances have medicinal or therapeutic benefits without regulatory approval.
  4. Prescription Drug Abuse: Promotion or facilitation of misuse, resale, or unauthorized distribution of prescription medications.
  1. Violence, Threats, and Harmful Behavior
  1. We prohibit the promotion, planning, glorification, encouragement, or facilitation of violent, threatening, or dangerous behavior, as individuals or groups of individuals, including, but not limited to:
  1. Threats of Harm: Content expressing intent to cause physical or emotional harm to individuals or groups of individuals, terrorism, racism, sexism, or other discriminatory behaviour, or damage to property.
  2. Incitement to Violence: Encouraging or celebrating physical violence or emotional distress.
  3. Gratuitous or Graphic Violence: Graphic depictions of real-world violence, including but not limited to assaults, shootings, or physical altercations.
  4. Encouraging Dangerous Acts: Content that promotes reckless or hazardous activities that could result in injury, such as stunts, reckless driving, or high-risk challenges.
  1. Harassment, Bullying, and Privacy Violations
  1. We prohibit the promotion, planning, encouragement, facilitation, or act of harassment, bullying, and privacy violations, including but not limited to:
  1. Verbal Abuse & Threats: Insults, slurs, intimidation, or any behavior meant to shame, embarrass, or humiliate others.
  2. Doxxing & Privacy Violations: Creating or otherwise sharing private information (such as home addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, or government-issued IDs) without consent.
  3. Non-Consensual Content: Creating or otherwise sharing content of individuals in private settings (ex. bedrooms, bathrooms, medical facilities) without their knowledge or consent.
  4. Persistent Harassment: Continuing to contact, message, tag, or post content, or encourage or facilitate others to do so, about users who have requested no further interaction from you, whether they have blocked you within the app or otherwise.
  1. Extortion, Bribery, and Sextortion
  1. Users may not engage in extortion, bribery, or coercion for financial, personal, or sexual gain, including but not limited to:
  1. Financial Extortion & Bribery: Demanding money, services, or favors under threat of harm, exposure, or retaliation.
  2. Sextortion & Sex-Based Bribery: Coercing someone into providing sexual content, favors, or activities by threatening to reveal private information or images.
  3. Revenge Porn & Non-Consensual Sexual Content: Creating or otherwise sharing intimate content of others without consent.
  1. Animal Abuse and Harm
  1. We prohibit content depicting or promoting cruelty to animals, including but not limited to:
  1. Graphic Abuse: Content of animal torture, neglect, cruelty, or unnecessary harm.
  2. Encouragement of Animal Cruelty: Promotion or instructions on harming animals.
  3. Animal Fighting & Exploitation: Content featuring or promoting organized animal cruelty, such as dogfighting or cockfighting.
  1. Reporting and Enforcement.  
  1. Upon violation of these Standards, in addition to deleting content and suspending or terminating your account, we will comply with law and may report the content and you to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, if involving a child, and appropriate law enforcement agencies.
  2. If you encounter content or behavior that violates these Standards:
  1. Do Not Engage or Interact with the Content or User: Avoid saving, sharing, or commenting on the content or interacting with the user, as this can further harm the victim and impede law enforcement efforts.
  2. Report Immediately: Use our in-app reporting tools or contact us to notify us of the situation.  You may contact us at [email protected]. We will promptly investigate the situation and take appropriate action.  Do not assume others will, or rely on others to, report or contact us.
  3. External Reporting: In addition to notifying us, you can report the content to organizations like the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, if involving a child, and law enforcement agencies.  Do not assume others will, or rely on others to, report or contact or other organizations or law enforcement agencies.
